Vonette "V-Jay" Hernandez

Vonette “V-Jay” Hernandez entered eternal rest on Friday, November 19, 2021 at the age of 45. She was born to Victor Hernandez and Maria Yolanda Asencion on September 13, 1976 in Seguin, Texas.

Vonette is preceded in death by her father, Victor Hernandez; grandmother; Adela Hernandez; grandparents; Tomas and Paula Ascension; uncle, Francisco Hernandez; aunt Feliz Asencion.

She is survived by her mother, Yolanda Hernandez; sisters, Pricilla Hernandez and Yvette Hernandez; brother, Victor Hernandez III; grandfather, Victor Hernandez Sr.; nieces and nephews, Jimmy Ramirez III, James Ramirez, Yelena Ramirez, Nicole and Joseph Vela, Aliana Rangel, Jayden and Jiovanni Villalon, Armando, Aidyen, Alias and Ayven Pena, Devin Garcia; great nieces and nephews, Gabriella and Ezekiel Ramirez, Ryden Rodriguez, and Baby on the way Azael Ramirez. She is further survived by her good friend, Kyaio Rainy and numerous aunts, uncles, and extended family and friends.

Vonette was a loving and friendly soul that cared for everyone she knew. She enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews, and especially enjoyed cooking for them. She loved to laugh, joke around, and smile. She enjoyed being around her family and was known to always film and take funny photos of her loved ones. Vonette will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Saturday, December 18, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Holy Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. and Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery.
