Sulema Crabtree

Sulema Lynn Crabtree, 24, of Seguin, passed away Monday June 24, 2019 at University Hospital in San Antonio. Sulema was born December 26, 1994 in Seguin. She attended San Antonio College in pursuit of a career as a medical assistant. Sulema was very technically inclined and a whiz with phones and computers. She will be remembered for her fierce determination and never give up attitude, but mostly for her heart of gold and her affection for her babies, her nieces and nephews. Feisty, yet thoughtful, she will remain forever a loving daughter, granddaughter, sister and aunt. Above all Sulema will be remembered for the constant beautiful smile throughout her life.

Sulema is survived by her fiancé Mark Crabtree; mother Rochell Vasquez (Ramiro Anzua); sisters Danielle Davila and Samantha Vasquez (Jordan Robles); brothers Brandon Gallegos and Jeremiah James; grandparents Eufemio and Maria Luisa Vasquez; nieces Kayleeah Rodriguez, Annabella Vasquez and Aubriella Brown; uncle and godfather Javier Vasquez; aunts Roxanne Moreno and Rosemary Vasquez (Eric Suarez). Also survived by numerous other cousins and a host of relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her Uncle Ray Moreno; God mother Melissa Rodriguez; her step father Christopher Cardenas and her great grandmother Maurica Barrientz.

A gathering of Sulema’s family and friends will begin at 9:00 A.M. Thursday, June 27, 2019, with her funeral service to immediately follow at 10:00 A.M. at Goetz Memorial Chapel 713 N. Austin St. in Seguin. Interment will follow at San Geronimo Cemetery in Seguin. Arrangements entrusted to Goetz Funeral Home in Seguin.
