Shirley Ott

Shirley A. Ott of Seguin, TX passed away on March 20, 2017 at the age of 65. She is preceded in death by her father, Clarence O. Jandt and husband, Allen C. Ott. She is survived by her mother, Angela Jandt; son, Christopher Ott; brother, C.J. Jandt (Patricia), as well as nephews, nieces, and extended family. Shirley always had a positive outlook and was especially joyful when her son Christopher was born after many years of marriage. A visitation will begin on Monday, March 27, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm followed by a Rosary at 7:00 pm at Goetz Funeral Home. A Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at 10:00 am at St. James Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Cemetery #1 in Selma, TX. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff and caregivers at Hacienda Oaks Nursing & Rehabilitation for such loving care over the past 6 plus years and also to Freedom Hospice. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to The Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave., 7th fl., New York, NY 10001. Arrangements are entrusted to Goetz Funeral Home, Seguin, Texas.
