Ruby Nolte

Ruby Grimm Nolte, 95, went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 20, 2021.

She was a blessed wife, mom, Oma, sister, aunt & friend who will be greatly missed by all.

Ruby married the love of her life and best friend Arthur Nolte on February 19, 1949. He preceded her in death in 1999.

Ruby was a member of Grace Lutheran Church for years, and VFW Ladies Auxiliary for years. She loved cooking for everyone, gardening, flowers and playing Bingo.

Ruby was also preceded in death by her parents George Grimm Sr. and Hattie (Steinbach) Grimm; infant daughter, Jannette Nolte; sisters, Elizabeth McCallister and Madeline Baker; brothers, Marvin Grimm, Charlie Grimm, and George Grimm Jr, and grandson, Charles Brandt.

Ruby is survived by sons, James and Maryanna Nolte, Steven Nolte, John Nolte, Randy and Susan Nolte all of Seguin, Texas, Franklin & Melissa Nolte of Dumas, Texas., and a daughter Linda Portnajmer of Seguin, Texas, sister, Doris Yarbrough of San Antonio, Texas, nine grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday December 23, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church in Seguin, Texas with Funeral Services beginning 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at  Riverside Cemetery.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorials may to be made to Grace Lutheran Church, 935 East Mountain St. Seguin, Texas, 78155, or your favorite charity.
