Rosalie Mattke

Rosalie L. Mattke went to be with her Lord on June 15, 2017. She was born August 7, 1927 on a farm in Guadalupe County. She enjoyed sewing and art activities at Eden Hill Communities where she resided for over eleven years. Rosalie is survived by three sisters, Betty Mollenhauer, Gladys Roecker and husband Cleburn, and Irene Cheatham; one brother, Alton Mattke; one brother-in-law Helmuth Friedeck; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Alfred and Bertha Doege Mattke; one brother Leroy and sister-in-law Irene; one sister Evelyn Friedeck; and brother-in-law's Charlie Mollenhauer and James Cheatham. Visitation will begin Monday, June 19, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Goetz Funeral Home. A viewing will be held Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 9:00 am with a 10:00 am Church Service at Christ Lutheran Church. Interment will follow at Christ Lutheran of Elm Creek Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Goetz Funeral Home, Seguin, TX.
