Robert Henderson Duncan II passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021.  He was born on May 15, 1951 to Robert Henderson Duncan and Evelyn Elizabeth Pipenburg in Santa Monica, California.

Robert is survived by his wife Anita Dunable; children, Tyrone (Pawnii) Duncan, Troy (Jennifer) Duncan, Trenton (Laree) Duncan, Christopher (Erin) Dunable, Benjamin (Alicia) Dunable, and Susan (Bryan) Allen, and a host of grandchildren.

Robert was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Robert served in the United States Army as an Army Ranger where he was Airborne qualified. He served in Vietnam where he earned the Army Combat Infantry Badge, Silver Star, Bronze Star with Valor, and the Purple Heart. Robert continued his service to the nation by working for the American Red Cross assisting and supporting military families in Korea and stateside. He also participated in disaster recovery after Hurricanes Katrina and Sandy.

Robert loved his children and grandchildren, and they were truly the light of his life.  He will be dearly missed by all those that knew and loved him.

A Committal Service with Military Honors will be held at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on Friday October 29, 2021, at 9:15 a.m. under Committal Shelter #2. Officiating will be Bishop Tim Byrd.
