Our sassy princess, Rhea Jaide Arias, beloved daughter of San Juan and Amy Arias, was welcomed home on November 15, 2022, with loving arms by her grandpa and grandma Manual and Antonia Arias in Heaven. We can see her now running those bases to home plate by foot as her grandparents and her great grandparents (paternal) Jose and Jesusa Arias; (maternal) Grandpa Diaz and great grandparents Jesus and Amalia Zamora and numerous aunts and uncles cheer her on.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brothers: Xavier and Dax Arias; her grandparents: (maternal) Pedro (Pete) and Esperanza (Hope) Zamora; Her Uncles and Aunt (paternal): Jesse and Maureen Arias; (maternal): Cindy Zamora; John and Brenda Buono; and Pete and Naomi Zamora. Cousins (paternal) Lisa Rodriguez, Morgan Arias, and Jacob Arias; (maternal) Jay Davis and baby Danielle Zamora; her great-grandparent (maternal) Olga Diaz; her adopted grandparents by love Doug and Lorraine Savchenko and numerous relatives and family friends who loved Rhea very much.
Rhea was an 8th grader at La Vernia Junior High School. Some of Rhea's loves were sunbathing, racing her baby brother outside, cheering on her big brother at his baseball games, playing softball, cuddling with mom watching Food Network shows and cartoons Miraculous and Scooby Doo. Singing and jamming out every day to Taylor Swift and Dixie Chicks songs, Rhea had a zest for life. Her smile was infectious and lit up any room she entered. She changed so many lives in her short time here. She was our fierce warrior that never gave up or made excuses. Always praising God. You are forever loved a million and a day our sweet baby girl.
The family would like to say a special thank you to the following: all her doctors and specialists at Dell Children's and Children's Hospital of San Antonio. Her pediatrician Dr. Ismelda Gomez in Seguin and Physical Therapist Selena Morgan. Teachers and staff of La Vernia ISD for loving on our daughter and always pushing her to excel in her academics. Especially her para-Wendy Jenkins. Her friend Zaythan that made her laugh daily and her bestie McKenzie who loved her unconditionally. Her nurses Angeline Crow, Rachel Maha, and Jaime Mann that became second moms and family. We love you all and thank you for always taking such good care of our Rhe Rhe. And so many families and friends that adored her. We appreciate you all beyond words.
