Peggy Adair Staton was released from her earthly moorings into her precious Savior's arms on March 22, 2017. She lived her life in service to her family, her church parish of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, and volunteered her time, talents, and treasures to Faith Lutheran Preschool for over 40 years. She was a selfless servant to the disenfranchised and often served her community and church in quiet and non-descript ways that often went unnoticed. She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Norman Clyde Staton "Sonny;" parents, Clifton Adair and Frances Lucile Eckols; sister, Martha Belle Eckols Turk "Moochie." She is survived by her children, Thomas Adair Staton and wife Denise, Martha Alexander and husband M.J.; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and numerous relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be: William Maennena, Norman Maennena, Zebulon Maennena, Christopher Maennena, Brandon Alexander and Kori Gilkey. A visitation will begin on Friday, March 31, 2017 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Goetz Funeral Home. A Church Service will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 10:00 am at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church Seguin, TX. A Graveside Service will follow at 2:00 pm at Gonzales Masonic Cemetery, Gonzales, TX. Arrangements are entrusted to Goetz Funeral Home, Seguin, Texas.
