Peter was a finished carpenter, for over 50 years. His skill was demanding and precise, and he loved it. Peter, the oldest son of 18 children, was called to be the man of the house after the passing of his father. Peter continued to work until his health declined. He had an impressive work ethic, never missing work.

Peter was also loving, caring, and very sentimental. He never missed, or forgot a birthday, and was always prepared for the holidays. He was a simple man who loved Jesus and feared the Lord. Peter was also easy to find. After work, you could find him sitting in his truck, sketching out a plan on a napkin, having a Miller lite, or Ushering Sunday mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.

He left a legacy. He instilled in our hearts and minds, “ Put God first.” He will truly be missed. He was a loyal friend, wonderful father, brother, uncle, and grandfather.
