Norma Gene Christy Wahl went to be with the Lord on August 10, 2017. Norma was born to Norman Ray and Regena Owen Christy on November 10, 1949 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Linda Donahue and sister-in-law, Karen Byrum. Norma married Ray Joy Wahl on May 6th, 1967. They recently celebrated 50 amazing years of marriage. They have four children; Ray Joy George Wahl Jr. and wife Kim, DeAnna Lynn Marie Wahl and partner Cheryl Harwood, Monica Sue Flores and husband Joe, Brad Alan Wahl and wife Bebbi. She has sixteen grandchildren; Jodie Leigh Ann Toepperwein, Alyssa Patrice Flores, Tifny Brooke Funderburg and wife Andrea, Shawn Karl Toepperwein, Dakota Christian Harding, Brytni Nikole Wahl, Emily Brianna Hodgkins and Tim Soliz, Brian Matthew Wahl, Kassidi Alyse Wahl, Ethan Zachary Flores, Summer Lynn Flores, Reagan Leigh Herrera, Donnie Jeremy Wahl, Genesis Sloane Greathouse, Regina Marie Wahl, and Jethro Owen Wahl. She has six great-grandchildren; Jaden Scot Witty, Olivia Chastain Witty, Rylen Clay Heckman, Xavier James Soliz, Emmit Toepperwein, and Peyton Rylie Beeman. Also survived by her sister-in-law, Verna Mae Bierstedt and husband O'Brien; niece, Kathy Hewell and husband Al. She is survived by two sisters and three brothers; Mr. and Mrs. Roy and Clara Brandi, Mr. and Mrs. Frank and Sharon Baselice, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond and Carol Byrum, Ronnie Byrum, Mr. and Mrs. Guy and Jan Laine; and sixteen nieces and nephews who loved her so. Norma was a devoted employee at Motorola, now called Continental, for 44 years. She enjoyed spending time away from work with her loving husband, children and grandchildren. A visitation will begin Monday, August 14, 2017 from 5:00pm to 9:00 pm at Goetz Funeral Home. A Chapel Service will be held Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Goetz Funeral Home with an internment to follow at San Geronimo Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Goetz Funeral Home.
