Mary was born on October 14, 1935 in Davenport, Iowa and peacefully entered eternal rest on December 2, 2023 in Seguin, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Rex Vernal Stick, and parents, Mary Isabelle (Peterson) Early and Thomas Collins Early.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Marie Lefevere (Edwin L. Lefevere, Jr.); sons, Rex Thomas Stick (Anne Stick), John Stephen Stick (Elena Masara Stick); grandchildren, Jade Celeste Dietzman-Ray (Benjamin Scott Ray), Isaiah Joseph Lefevere, John David Lefevere, Noemi Stick, and Aurora Stick. She is further survived by her brother, Stephen Richard Early; nieces and nephews, James Early, Patrick Early, Michelle Christensen, Matthew Early, Michael Early, and many great nieces and nephews.
Services honoring Mary will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at St. James Catholic Church. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. with the Holy Rosary recited at 12:30 p.m. and the Funeral Mass celebrated at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in honor of Mary Stick to Guadalupe Regional Hospice Services, 1215 E. Court St. Seguin, Texas 78155 or to Guadalupe Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 1210 Eastwood Dr. Seguin, Texas 78155
