Maria Margarita Hernandez

Maria Margarita Hernandez (37) was called to her eternal resting place on May 14, 2022.  She entered this world on February 11, 1985, in Seguin, Texas, born to Joel Hernandez and Mary Lou Garcia-Castillo.  She is survived by her parents, her children, Jaidyn and Devin Garza and James Mathis, her stepfather, Paul Castillo Sr., her sister, Rebecca Castillo, and her stepbrother Paul Jr.  She also leaves behind her grandmother, Margarita Garcia-Perez, many aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved her dearly.

Margarita worked many years as a caregiver and loved to read, enjoyed the beach, and spending time with family.  Margarita was very proud of her three sons and fought her battle with cancer with her entire being for them.  She has joined her grandfather, Dr. Juan Garcia-Perez, in eternal rest.

Visitation will be held at Goetz Funeral Home on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at 10:00 am followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m.
