Luciano Favela

Luciano "Chano" Favela, a resident of Seguin, passed away on Monday evening, March 15, 2021 at Guadalupe Regional Medical Center in Seguin at the age of 79.  Luciano was born on August 12, 1942 in Albia Coahuila, Mexico to the late Herculano Favela and Juliana Favela.  Luciano was a member of the Iglesia Bautista El Buen Pastor.  Survivors include his children Juan Carlos Favela, Jose Luis Favela, Herculano Favela, Juliana Gallegos, Flor A. Gallegos, Lourdes Gallegos, and Carmela I. Bueno; brother Julian Favela and sisters Josefa Favela, Maria Isabel Gomez, Lourdes Cantu, Amparo Valdez; 22 grandchildren and 17 great- grandchildren.  Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. with the funeral service beginning at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at the La Hermosa Church, 408 W. Shelby St., Seguin, Texas 78155.  Officiating will be Pastor Timothy Ruben Sanchez of Iglesia Bautista El Buen Pastor in Seguin, Texas.  All services will end at the conclusion of the funeral on Saturday afternoon. All CDC guidelines will be enforced and face coverings will be required for all those who will be attending the funeral services.
