Leticia "Cope" Rodriguez

Leticia "Cope" Rodriguez, born on January 12,1963, in Seguin, Texas, passed away on Friday, August 9, 2024. 

Cope is preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert Y. Rodriguez and Aurora Sandoval, and her brother, Manuel Vargas. 

She is survived by her son, Amos Rodriguez; brothers, Rene Sandoval, Robert Rodriguez, Edward Rodriguez, Gilbert Rodriguez Jr., Christian Rodriguez, and Damian Rodriguez; sisters, Esmeralda Rodriguez and Elisa Rodriguez, grandchildren, Riah Rodriguez, Madalinn Rodriguez, Lesley Garcia, Chastity Rodriguez; great grandchildren, Aurora Rodriguez and Gilberto Cardona Jr. Cope is further survived by numerous nephews, nieces, extended family and friends. 

Cope was known for her relentless love for her job; she enjoyed working and found fulfillment in the tasks that filled her days.

In addition to her dedication, Cope had a profound appreciation for rock music, often attending concerts that allowed her to immerse herself in the rhythms and energy of the genre. Her enthusiasm for life was palpable, and her love for rock music added a vibrant layer to her character that those who knew her will cherish forever.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Cope's life on Wednesday, August 28, 2024. Visitation will be held at Goetz Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service beginning at 3:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Santo Tomas Cemetery.

Leticia "Cope" Rodriguez will be remembered for her infectious spirit, her love for the job she held so dear, and the joy she found in rock concerts. She touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed.
