Lela Zurek

Lela Zurek went to rejoice with her husband and son in Heaven on August 9, 2017. Lela was born on March 17, 1922 in Wolverine, Michigan. She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Zurek, and son Charles Zurek. Lela is survived by daughter, Dianne Pickett and husband Bill; six grandchildren, Shanna Pickett, Andrea Cooper (Saulo), , Amy Janda, Zachary Zurek (Guadalupe), Michael Zurek; eight great-grandchildren, Julia, Nevaeh, Marissa, Deven, Jimmy, Zachary Jr., Veronica,and Noah; brother, Gary Vroman; daughter-in-law, Mary Zurek; and numerous other relatives and friends. A Committal Service will be held on Friday, August 25, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park. Chaplain Jeremy Roy will officiate the Ceremony. Arrangements are entrusted to Goetz Funeral Home, Seguin, Texas.
