Lawrence Paul Hotchkiss, 73, a beloved son and brother passed away on January 25, 2025. He was born on May 23, 1951 in Chardon, Ohio to Lawrence B. Hotchkiss and Lena Etta Willoughby.
Larry graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1970, where he played both football and baseball for the High school team and it was his passion. Later in life, he was an outstanding little league baseball coach for Camelot Little League, coaching his youngest brother, David. He continued to volunteer as a little league coach in Kirby and Schertz, Texas. Larry was also passionate about church and at one time faithfully served as a Deacon. Larry's passion showed not only in sports but in all his endeavors as an AKC breeder of Beagles and also in his love of family, always finding time to reconnect with them every chance he got. Larry was employed as a security guard at the Inn at Los Patios for 16 years and was awarded employee of the month, the quarter and year on numerous occasions. Larry was very proud of his work there and was appreciated by the staff and residents. As a breeder of Beagles, Larry won several awards in AKC shows.
Lawrence P. Hotchkiss was a loving son, loving brother, a mentor and a good friend. He will be dearly missed. He will be laid to rest at Mission Burial Park South.
