Kathy Salazar

Kathy Urias Salazar of Seguin, Texas passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at the age of 46.  She was born on September 28, 1974 in Seguin, Texas to Alfredo Trevino Urias and Aurora (Dora) Soto Urias.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Zeke Urias, and grandmother, Virginia Urias.

Kathy is survived by her parents, Alfredo and Dora Urias; husband, Jesse Salazar III; children, Alyssa Rodriguez (Lazaro Sanchez), Brandon Urias, and her pride and joy, Katielya Salazar; brother, Alfred “Freddy” Urias Jr.

Kathy was a well-known, strong, and hardworking mother, daughter, and friend. She was a very loving, outgoing, and caring person. She loved her family dearly and always made sure they were well taken care of. Kathy had an enormous heart. She was always willing to help anyone in need, always put others before herself, and she was always successful in everything she did. Kathy’s beautiful and funny personality will be greatly missed by her family and friends, but the memories will live on in their hearts forever.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at First Latin Assembly of God from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with the Funeral Service beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.
