Juan Rangel, Jr. was called Home on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at the age of 72. He was born to Francisca Sepeda and Juan Rangel, Sr. in Seguin, Texas.
He was a Country Man at heart. He loved Pro Bull Riding, Country Music, Mexican Music and western wear. He loved spending time and talking with his children, grandchildren, family, friends and all his caregivers. He was a retired hardworking Ranchhand. He was a jokester and was loved by many. He will be dearly missed.
Juan is preceded in death by both his parents; brothers, Cresencio and Frankie Rangel; and sisters Janie Avalos and Susie Arevalo.
Left to cherish his memories are his daughter, Monica Rangel Martinez (Victor); son, Jeremy Rangel (Victoria); grandchildren, Breann White Villarreal (Joseph), Bryce Rangel (Marissa), and Mallory Rangel; great-grandchildren, Nevaeh Martinez, and Adelynn and Azaelia Rangel. He is further survived by his sister, Irma Rangel (Julie), and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Goetz Funeral Home on Friday, June 23, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with the Holy Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Santo Tomas Cemetery.
