Joyce Darlene Dyer

At home surrounded by her family, Joyce Darlene Dyer, cherished wife, and mother, passed away on September 14, 2023.  She was 74 years old.  Preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Thomas Milton Dyer, their faithful pets (Precious, Little Girl, Teddy, Sugar, and a veritable host of little bits); parents, Arley and Lena Mae; sister, Betty; brothers, Bobby, Billy, Byron, and Wayne.  Darlene spent her life devoted to her family.  She leaves behind her only daughter, Joyce and her favorite son in law-Daniel, her grandchildren, Chelsey and spouse Julian, Megan, Daniel and spouse Shiane, and Kaitlyn.  She was a member of Prairie Lea Baptist Church and was a spiritual leader in her home, showing the love of God to each one of her family members every day.  In her great faith she said, “I don’t have to worry about breathing when I die, because the next breath will be there waiting, and I’ll see Jesus.”
