JoAnn Hoffmann

JoAnn Hoffmann, a dedicated homemaker and loving mother, passed away on November 3, 2023, at Nesbit Nursing Home. She was born on January 7, 1943, in Seguin, Texas, the place she called home throughout her life.

Following her graduation from Seguin High School in 1961, JoAnn embarked on a journey filled with love and cherished memories. On September 9, 1962, she married the love of her life, Leroy Hoffmann. Together, they built a strong and loving family.

JoAnn's commitment to her role as a homemaker was unwavering. She found joy in creating warm and welcoming homes for her family. The holidays were particularly special to JoAnn; she poured her heart into creating festive celebrations that brought loved ones together.

Aside from being a dedicated homemaker and mother, JoAnn also worked as a secretary for Entex Gas Company and Cross Church, where she made valuable contributions.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Hoffmann and her parents Hildagard and Milton Alves.  She leaves behind her son, Bryan Hoffmann of Boerne and daughter-in-law Melanie Hoffmann along with their daughters Sara Gense (Matt) and Madeline Hoffmann and son, Blake Hoffmann of Seguin and daughter-in-law Mary Hoffmann with their children Zachary and Haley Hoffmann.

Relatives, friends, and acquaintances are invited to pay their last respects during visitation events held at Goetz Funeral Home in Seguin, Texas. Visitation will commence at 9:00 AM on November 16th, 2023 with the family present starting at noon until 2:00 PM. A funeral service will take place at 3:00 PM at Cross Church, located at 814 N Bauer St in Seguin. Burial will be held at St. James Catholic Cemetery, 607 Dolle Ave, Seguin, Texas, starting at 4:00 PM.
