Ms. Jessie R. Walters, age 82, of Seguin, Texas passed away November 13, 2019, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Ms. Walters was born on July 10, 1937, in Cherry Springs, Texas to parents, Alvin Martin and Edna (Neffendorf) Anderegg. She and her husband of 50 years, Richard A. Walters were married in the wedding chapel of Norton Airforce Base in San Bernardino, California. Ms. Walters attended Country Church in Marion, Texas. She enjoyed watching basketball games and was an avid San Antonio Spurs fan with a competitive spirit. Her family affectionately nicknamed her the “Scrabble Queen” remarking she loved to play scrabble and card games. She enjoyed sewing and knitting and had a talent of creating recipes that became coveted family heirlooms. Above all, her family remembers her very nurturing nature and her loving way of putting them in their place when necessary.
Ms. Walters is survived by her daughters and their spouses, Donna White and Bill and Linda Sanchez and Ramone all of Sequin; grandchildren, Juanita Anzorena and husband, Marcos of Las Vegas, Nevada, John Camacho of Tomah, Wisconsin, and Jessica Zwicke and husband, Ethan of Seguin; great grandchildren, Michael, Isace, Brianna, Chris and Savannah; and many other loving relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; son, Sam Dickenson; 5 sisters and 3 brothers.
Ms. Walters will be laid to rest with her husband at Monticeto Memorial Park in Colton, California. Condolences may be sent to the family through this online guestbook.
