Homer Whitaker, Sr.

Homer B. Leo Whitaker Sr., passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2018, at the age of 68. He was born in Austin, Texas to father, Leo Whitaker and mother Addie May Miller, on Friday, December 16, 1949. He is preceded in death by parents, son, Roger Morris Whitaker, sisters, Katherine Whitaker and Lillian McJimsey, Margie Huckabay, brother, John Wayne Whitaker. He is survived by wife, Linda Whitaker, sons, Jerry Wayne Whitaker, Jimmy Ray Whitaker, Rodney Gottchalk, Homer B. Leo, Jr., Quentin Lee Whitaker (Jaime Nicole), daughters, Betty Fuentes, Susan Gayle Whitaker, Rebecca Galvan and husband Anthony, Lorena Kay Marie Diaz, sisters, Gurttie Butler and Peggy Heskew as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Goetz Funeral Home starting at 8:00am to 12:00pm with a funeral service being held at 10:00am.
