Grace Cepeda

Grace Rascon Cepeda, 73, of Seguin, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at her residence. She was born February 12, 1945 in Artesia, New Mexico to Casimiro and Faustina (Dominguez) Rascon. Grace was a 40-year member of the Church of Christ and was especially fond of singing Church Hymns. She will be remembered for enjoying cooking, sewing and staying busy around the house.

Grace is survived by her husband of 56 years, Domingo Cepeda, of Seguin; daughter, Cynthia Ramirez and her husband, Louis, of Seguin; sons, Domingo Cepeda Jr. and Orlando Cepeda, and his wife, Margie, both of Seguin; grandchildren, Anthony, Samantha, Stephanie, Melissa and Adreana and 6 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers; Larry Rascon, and his wife, Vera, of Visilia, California and Frank Rascon, also of California; sisters, Ruth Perez and her husband, Jose, Esther Tena, and her husband, Blas and Martha Ruiz, and her husband, Jacob, all of Tulare, California. She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Corina Tena; sister, Lorenza Franco and her brothers, Carmen and Casimiro Jr. Rascon.

A gathering of Grace's family and friends will begin on January 25th at 6:00 P.M., with her funeral service to follow at 7:00 P.M. at Goetz Memorial Chapel 713 N. Austin St. Seguin, Tx. 78155. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Goetz Funeral Home.
