Gloria Gomez

Gloria Gomez, our beloved sister and grandmother, age 83, of Seguin, Texas was called Home by the Lord on Friday, November 5, 2021.

Gloria is preceded in death by her only daughter, Eva Gomez; parents, Jose Gomez and Adela Leal Gomez; brother, Larry Gomez; sisters, Rebecca Contreras and Lucia Weempe.

Gloria is survived by her sister, Erminia Rodriguez; brothers, Joe Gomez, Alex Gomez (Janie), Domingo Gomez (Gloria); grandchildren, Mario Mejia (Kim), Noel Gomez (Audri), Gloria Mejia (Mark), and eleven great grandchildren.

Grandma Gloria enjoyed listening to music, watching her novelas, and dancing. She loved shopping and going to yard sales and thrift stores were her favorite.

She loved being outside tending to her plants and sitting out on her swing watching people go by.

Being chauffeured around town by her daughter was a daily thing after her morning coffee or lunch at her favorite restaurant.

She loved visiting with family and friends. Most of all, she loved the company of her grandkids and great grandkids. She spoiled them the most with anything they wanted. She always had ice cream and cookies in the cookie jar ready for them.

She had so much love for everyone, always willing and welcoming.

Grandma Gloria was blessed with a loving family and will be missed deeply by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Goetz Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with the Funeral Service beginning at 1:00 p.m.
