Emilia Cooper

Emilia "Molly" (Vela) Cooper, age 95, passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at the age of 95. She was born in San Antonio, Texas on March 10, 1923 to her parents, Arcadio Vela and Angelica (Gonzales) Vela.

Molly was preceded in death by her parents, Arcadio and Angelica Vela, her husband of 65 years, Vernon Cooper, one brother and three sisters.

She is survived by her daughter, Grace Cooper Mendoza, one son, Daniel A. Cooper, one sister, three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Molly was a devoted wife and mother. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

A Visitation will be held at Goetz Funeral Home on Wednesday April 4, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with a Graveside Service to be held on Wednesday April 4, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
