It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Edwin Lawrence Lefevere, Jr. "Larry", beloved husband, devoted father, and skilled tile setter/remodeler, who left us on October 7, 2024, at the age of 53.

Born on November 5, 1970, in Abilene, Texas, Larry spent 30+ years in Arizona, but always loved Texas and wanted to move back and did in 2014. He dedicated over 30 years of his life to his craft as a tile setter, transforming homes and spaces with his artistry and precision. His work was not just a job; it was a passion that he approached with unwavering commitment and care. Many of his projects stand as a testament to his skill and creativity, cherished by those who experienced his craftsmanship.

Larry was a loving husband to his wife, Jennifer, and a proud father to his three children, Jade, Isaiah, and John. He instilled in them the values of hard work, kindness, and integrity. His family was his greatest joy, and he found happiness in every moment spent with them.

Outside of work and family life, Larry had a zest for life that was infectious. He loved fishing, cooking Sunday dinners especially his smoked pork, and cheering for his favorite sports team, the Kansas City Chiefs. His laughter and warm spirit brought comfort to those around him, and he was always ready to lend a helping hand to friends and neighbors.

Larry is preceded in death by his father, Edwin Lawrence Lefevere; maternal grandparents, Fred Everett Kuykendall Barnes and Mary Idella Lowder Barnes, and his paternal grandparents, Arnam Reese Lefevere and Eula Faye Lefevere.

Left to cherish and honor his memory is his loving wife, Jennifer Lefevere; children, Jade Dietzman-Ray (Benjamin Scott Ray), Isaiah Joseph Lefevere, John David Lefevere; mother, Carol Anne Barnes Lefevere; siblings, David Michael Lefevere (Colleen Lefevere), Suzanne Carol Shepard, and uncle, Arnold Ray Lefevere. Larry is further survived by many nieces and nephews.

Services honoring Larry will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at St. James Catholic Church. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. with the Holy Rosary recited at 10:30 a.m. and the Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m.

Larry will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love, hard work, and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Rest in peace, dear husband, father, and friend; your memory will forever be a source of comfort and inspiration to us all.
