Doris Parsons

Doris (Turner) Parsons, age 97, passed away January 15, 2019 at Hacienda Oaks Nursing Home. She was born September 1, 1921 in Holtsville, California. She was a Beautician for 40+ years, and enjoyed cooking, sewing, painting and gathering with her family.

She is survived by her sons; David Parsons of Boerne Texas, Aubrey Parsons, and his wife Debbie. Daughter, Dolly Galbreath and her husband Russell, of Converse Texas. Her sister Ruby Anderson of North Zulch Texas. 10 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and step grandchildren.

Doris is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Bobby Eugene Parsons; Son, Ross Keylich; Parents, George Guy Turner and Ethel Turner, and 6 brothers and sisters.

A gathering of family and friends will be Monday, January 21, 2019 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Goetz Memorial Chapel 713 N Austin St. in Seguin Texas. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 10 a.m. at St John's Lutheran Church 600 S Center St, Marion, TX 78124 Interment will follow at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park in New Braunfels.
