Dora “La Guera” Perez of Seguin, Texas was wrapped in the arms of the Lord on February 19, 2021 at the age of 56. She was born on February 12, 1965 to Raymundo Perez and Eva Angelina (Resendez) Perez in New Braunfels, Texas.
Dora grew up in Seguin, Tx with all her brothers and sister whom she loved dearly. Her mother Eva was a hard working woman who never gave up on anything. Dora was the same, a fighter, strong willed, crazy, big hearted and always fun to be around. She had so many friends, a people person for sure. Everywhere she went someone always knew her. She loved dancing, tejano music, and always enjoyed some cold ones. One obsession she had was making sure her house was always nice, neat and most of all clean. She enjoyed cooking, baking cakes and making her big ole tortillas but lets not forget she always had to have her oatmeal for breakfast. Her love for her family was the utmost time she gave us and we will cherish that. She will be deeply missed by many.
She is preceded in death by both her mother and father.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Denise Davila, Rebecca Davila De La Garza and husband James, Veronica Perez and partner Julian Esquivel, Jason Baldera; grandchildren, Jordan Davila, Christian Tristan, Breanna Tristan, Trey Tristan, Josiah De La Garza, Mariah De La Garza, Randy Cruces, Hailey Cruces, Lexi Baustista, Rhilee Baldera, and Zayvier Baldera; great-grand daughter, Genevieve Camilla Hernandez; brothers and sister, Raymundo Perez Jr, Margarita Villarreal and husband Bebe, Rodolfo Perez and Roger Perez. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews, and extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 4, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 5:00 p.m. at Goetz Funeral Home.
