Domingo Rodriguez DeLeon, a loving father, grandfather, and brother, passed away on July 19, 2024. He was born on December 20, 1958, to Manuel DeLeon and Maria Rodriguez in Geronimo, Texas.
Domingo is preceded in death by his parents, Manuel DeLeon, Fernando and Maria Flores; brother, Jose DeLeon, and nephew, Joshua DeLeon.
Survivors include his daughters, Linda DeLeon, Jennifer Krueger (James), and Stephanie Ortega (Juan); grandchildren, Tyler and Everly Brown, Trinity and Grayson Krueger, Auden DeLeon, and Archer Ortega; siblings, Manuel DeLeon (Annette), Eloisa Adames (Carlos), Rudolfo DeLeon, Leonardo DeLeon (Lucy), Florencia Caballero (Mateo III), Santos Murrell (Robert Sr.), Michelle Gomez (Vicente). He is further survived by the mother of his daughters, Susie DeLeon, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Domingo embodied the true spirit of generosity and compassion throughout his life. He was known for his unwavering love for his family, always placing them as his number one priority. Domingo's daughters and grandchildren were the pride and joy of his life.
Those who had the privilege of knowing Domingo will remember him as a free spirit with a vibrant sense of humor. A jokester at heart, he always knew how to bring laughter and joy to those around him. His hardworking nature was evident in his many artistic talents and carpentry skills. One of his greatest joys was riding his beloved Harley Davidson motorcycle. His catchphrase "time to take out my iron horse" echoed the excitement he felt every time he hit the open road. In addition to his love for motorcycles, Domingo was also a fan of the San Antonio Spurs and the Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed spending time playing pool with friends and had a deep appreciation for live music.
Domingo's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known him.
Services honoring Domingo Rodriguez DeLeon will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at Goetz Funeral Home in Seguin, Texas. The visitation will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. followed by the Recitation of the Holy Rosary from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. where friends and family can pay their respects and celebrate the life of this remarkable man.
