David Albrecht

David Terrance Albrecht, 71, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Sunday, September 4, 2022 at his home in Seguin, Texas with his loving wife of 53 years by his side. David was born in London, England on March 26, 1951 to Maxwell and Lois Albrecht.

On December 20, 1969 he married the love of his life Glenda, he then joined the United States Air Force and retired after 22 years of service in the Medic field, he truly loved his country until his last breath. He later worked for Gary Job Corp. as an instructor for firearms & Texas Dept. of Criminal Justice-Institution Division program training, after that he went to HEB, where he was still employed. David was an extremely hard worker, always giving 100% of himself to his job and others. He enjoyed cooking, hunting, woodworking, fishing with his sons and loving on his pets, which he spoiled rotten. He was our rock, there wasn't anything he couldn't or wouldn't do for any of us, no matter what we needed he was there. We were truly blessed to have him in our lives. He is already greatly missed by those that knew and loved him, our lives have forever changed.

David is preceded in death by his parents Maxwell and Lois Albrecht and survived by his wife Glenda Albrecht, sister Lois Guckian, step sister Lisa Watkins, sons: Steve and husband Michael, Randy and wife Ashley, Greg and wife Tracy with 10 grandchildren, Colton, Jeremy, Ashley, Cody, Ryan, Zach, Dillon, Addie, Graylyn and Cole and 5 1/2 great-grand children.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at Goetz Funeral Home starting at 9:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. with Funeral Services beginning at 11:45 a.m. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 1:45 p.m.
