Cody Kyle Armstrong passed away at the age of 33 years old on Friday, June 30, 2023. He was a talented farrier and horseman with a big heart and contagious laugh. Cody knew no strangers. He was a beloved son, brother, father, and friend.
Cody was born December 3, 1989, to Leslie Ann Bomnskie and Ronald Chad Armstrong. Cody leaves behind his son, Cayson Laine Armstrong; parents, Leslie Ann Bomnskie Palacios and husband Alfredo Palacios, Benjamin Schubert, Charles “Chuck” McCay, Kelly McCay, and Ronald Chad Armstrong; brothers T.J. McCay wife Lauren, Sean McCay wife Shelby, and Logan Schubert; grandmothers Janet Bomnskie Carden and Tammy Burden Bomnskie; grandfather Myron Speckman; aunt Kimberly Bomnskie, cousins Katherine and Stevie Hopper, Sarah and Marc Perez numerous friends, extended loving family, and his many farrier clients that he adored.
Cody loved his time with his son and best buddy, Cayson. His life passion was lived at its fullest daily as a farrier, working with horses, and crafting knives and anything he could form with an old horseshoe. He enjoyed all outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, and kayaking. His loving cheerful smile marked his entire universe and left all of us better loving him.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023 at Goetz Funeral Home in Seguin from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. A celebration of life will be held at the VFW Post #8456 6808 N. Hwy 123, Geronimo, TX 78115 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
