Clara Miller

Clara Lee Miller, 88, of Seguin, died Monday, May 6, 2019 at her residence. She was born February 4, 1931 in Gonzalez, to Bernice (Gonzales) and Virgil Taylor Sr. Clara was a Homemaker and enjoyed yard work and gardening, outdoor activities and cooking. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and Big Granny.

Clara is survived by her daughters, Karen Redd, Shirley Carter, Angela Miller and Donna Miller; sons, Rufus Jr., Alfred, Michael, Ralph and Donald Miller; 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; brother, Virgil Taylor Jr; sister, Marie Forcy as well as numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Clara was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Rufus Miller Sr; her parents; sisters, Annie Bell Schuler, Louise Scott and Lula Taylor.

Clara's wake service will be from 6 to 8 P.M. Friday, May 10, 2019 at Goetz Memorial Chapel 713 N. Austin St. Seguin. Her funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 11, 2019 at First United Methodist Church 710 N. Austin St. Seguin, Tx. 78155. Her interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery Hwy 90 in Seguin.
