Carolina Castanon Molina, also known as Carrie, passed away on January 24, 2025, at the age of 92. Carrie was born on February 8, 1932, to Herminio Castanon and Maria Guerrero in Seguin, Texas.
Carrie is remembered for her unwavering dedication to her family and her ability to bring joy to those around her. She leaves behind her beloved children; Yolanda Young (Robert Young) and Adolfo Saldua Jr. of Seguin, Texas, James A. Taylor of Whitewater, Wisconsin, and Jerry Saldua. She is further survived by her brothers, Roy Castanon of Whitewater, Wisconsin, and Robert Castanon (Irma Castanon), along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren whom she adored deeply.
Carrie was preceded in death by her first husband, Adolfo Saldua Sr., and her second husband, Alfredo Molina; daughter, Diana Saldua; parents, Herminio and Maria Castanon, along with siblings, Raymond Castanon, Richard Castanon, Reynaldo Castanon, Rudy Castanon, and Elvira Carrizales.
Services celebrating Carrie's life will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Goetz Funeral Home in Seguin, Texas. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., followed by the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
