Calvin Donald Alexander was born in San Antonio Texas on December 29, 1954 and passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer on November 12, 2021 in Kingsbury Texas. Calvin was preceded in death by his loving wife Cathy and father Leslie Donald Alexander. Calvin is survived by his only son Ross Alexander and wife Jessica, his grandchildren Paul, Hanna and RJ, his mother Alma Alexander, brothers Glenn Alexander (Geri), Jeff Alexander (Bettie) Roger Alexander (Susie) and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calvin was a man saved by grace,a devoted father and grandfather, loving son and loyal brother. Calvin loved his career as a certified merchandise relocation technician also known as Truck Driver. He worked hard on and off the road. He could always point you in the direction of a good place to eat or a place to get a good cup of coffee. When he was not driving, Calvin love to go hunting and fishing and most of all he loved spending time with his family. Calvin truly knew how to live life to the fullest. He will forever be deeply missed by his family friends and all who know him.
A time of visitation is scheduled from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 with a Prayer Service beginning at 7:00 pm at Goetz Funeral Home located at 713 North Austin St. in Seguin, Texas. Graveside services will take place on Thursday November 18, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
