Betty Joyce Eilers

Betty Joyce Eilers entered eternal rest on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 in Yorktown, Texas. She was born on May 26, 1938, to William Gray and Kizzie Curry in Harlingen, Texas.

Betty was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was known for her caring nature and her remarkable ability to put others before herself. Betty’s huge heart and unwavering kindness touched the hearts of many.

Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Eilers; her parents William and Kizzie Gray; brothers, Harold Gray and Billie Gray, and her sister, Rosemary Strong. 
 
Betty's legacy lives on through her family. She is survived by her son, Carl Eilers (Julie); daughter, Cindy Stephens (David); grandsons, Daniel Eilers (Sarah) and Leroy Alloway; granddaughter, Katrina Russell (Mark); and great grandsons, Ethan Russell, Matthew Eilers, and Jacob Eilers.

Betty will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
