Angie Marguerite Layton, born on February 29, 1932, in Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2025, in San Marcos, Texas.
Angie is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Perry Layton, and her parents, Garrett W. Miller and Marguerite S. Wilcox. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy J. Layton, sons; David P. Layton and Donald Layton; grandchildren, Amber E. Cole, Darlene Layton, Elijah Layton, and Robert Layton.
Angie touched the lives of many with her joyful spirit. A woman of faith, she loved Jesus very much. She loved to read and study the book of Revelation. Her deep-rooted faith guided her throughout life and was evident in her interactions with family and friends.
Angie also had an appreciation for the beauty of nature, especially the mountains; she and her husband built two cabins in Colorado—an accomplishment she cherished dearly. In addition to her love for the outdoors, she was a talented pianist and enjoyed playing hymns and other fun songs. Angie will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
A Graveside service honoring Angie will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at San Geronimo Cemetery in Seguin, Texas at 2:00 p.m.
